The Junior Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks and support the senior accounting team in the preparation and maintenance of financial records. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting principles, solid attention to detail, and the ability to work with financial software and spreadsheets.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and reconcile incoming payments.
Data Entry: Input financial data accurately into accounting systems.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts with financial records.
General Ledger: Post journal entries and maintain accurate records.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, etc.
Expense Tracking: Document and categorize company expenses.
Month/Year-End Closings: Assist with account reconciliations and closing tasks.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree is a plus)
Experience: Some accounting experience or internships preferred.
Skills: Basic knowledge of accounting principles, Excel, and accounting softwares.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in financial data and reporting.
