Kolkata-based mechanical services company with over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. We install, commission and maintain rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines and DG sets at refineries and petrochemical plants, and are an approved vendor to leading oil companies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and execute maintenance shutdowns and overhauls of pumps, compressors, turbines and blowers
Manage and supervise subcontractor teams, including manpower, tools and materials
Check subcontractor bills against actual manpower, hours and materials used
Coordinate with client maintenance teams and equipment manufacturers
Support technical bids for maintenance and rate contracts
Develop relationships with plant maintenance teams to win repeat and recent work
Ensure site safety practices, including work permits and lockout/tagout
Send monthly cost and progress reports to head office
Travel to project sites as required
REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
12+ years of maintenance experience in refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizer, steel or power plants
Hands-on experience with pumps, compressors and turbines, including alignment, mechanical seals, bearings and balancing
Experience of at least two plant shutdowns or turnarounds
Experience managing contractor workforces
PREFERRED:
Experience with a PSU refinery, private refinery, equipment manufacturer or EPC contractor

WE OFFER:
Fixed salary plus performance incentive
Direct reporting to management
