Lead - Network Procurement (Commercial & Contract)
Telecom & Software Commercials is accountable for driving commercially robust, contractually sound, and risk-controlled outcomes across the end-to-end lifecycle of telecom and software agreements. The role combines commercial negotiation, contract structuring, financial evaluation, and governance to ensure the business secures best value while protecting operational interests.
Key responsibilities
Lead the full contract lifecycle for Network equipment, software, licences, subscriptions and associated services, including drafting, redlining, negotiation, execution, amendments, renewals, and closure.
Structure and negotiate commercial terms to secure optimal pricing, payment terms, discount mechanisms and exit protections.
Review and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, license agreements and change orders with a robust commercial and contractual lens.
Evaluate deal economics using cash flow timing, and scenario-based commercial analysis to support decision-making.
Identify commercial, contractual, and operational risks in proposed terms; develop fallback positions and negotiate mitigations aligned to internal policy.
Ensure contract terms are aligned with business objectives, risk appetite, compliance requirements, and standard legal and commercial frameworks.
Maintain well-governed contract repositories, approval trails, and documentation through CLM/contract management tools, ensuring audit readiness and traceability.
Partner closely with procurement, finance, legal, operations, and business stakeholders to close deals efficiently and with robust commercial discipline.
Required qualifications & experience
Bachelors degree in law, business, finance, engineering, or a related discipline.
4years of experience in commercial, contract management, or procurement roles, with exposure to telecom, IT hardware, and software.
Hands-on experience with CLM tools and strong proficiency in Excel for pricing, discounting, and financial analysis.
Valuable understanding of telecom and software business models, including subscriptions, licences, managed services, and usage-based models.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
