Key Responsibilities
Handle accounting for domestic and FCRA transactions in compliance with applicable regulations.
Maintain accounting records in Tally/ERP in line with accounting principles.
Monitor fund utilization and project-wise accounting, including CSR and donor-funded projects.
Ensure compliance with TDS, GST, and Income Tax provisions applicable to NGOs.
Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns, GST reconciliation, and annual GST return.
Support filing of Income Tax Return (ITR) of the organization.
Maintain records related to CSR funds, donor grants, and project expenditures.
Ensure proper accounting treatment for labour law compliances and statutory deductions.
Assist in statutory, internal, and donor audit documentation.
Maintain financial documentation and compliance records for regulatory reporting.
Key Skills
Solid understanding of accounting principles
Knowledge of NGO accounting, CSR funds, and fund utilization tracking
Familiarity with FCRA accounting and compliance
Experience with GST returns, GST reconciliation, and TDS compliance
Knowledge of Income Tax provisions applicable to NGOs
Working knowledge of Tally and Excel
