: Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on development and application support for Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce.
Manage Magento application and production support activities.
Perform Magento version upgrades and ensure compatibility across applications and extensions.
Manage Magento/Adobe Commerce security patches, including assessment, testing, deployment, and post-deployment validation.
Troubleshoot custom modules, third-party extensions, and compatibility issues.
Handle P1/P2 production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent remediation.
Troubleshoot Magento performance issues across PHP, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, caching, indexing, cron, and queues.
Manage release and deployment activities across staging/UAT and production settings.
Perform rollback activities and post-release validation when required.
Conduct code and design reviews.
Provide technical estimations for development and support activities.
Work directly with clients, understand technical issues, provide updates, and drive resolution.
Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure smooth application operations.
Required Skills
6+ years of experience in Magento development.
Strong hands-on experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce.
Robust experience in Magento application and production support.
Experience with Magento upgrades and security patching.
Solid knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, caching, indexing, cron, and queues.
Experience working with custom modules and third-party extensions.
Strong production incident management and RCA experience.
Experience with release and deployment activities.
Strong code review and technical estimation skills.
Excellent client-facing communication skills.
