Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with 69 years of hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, debugging, and supporting enterprise Mainframe applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS, along with good exposure to production support and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, maintain, and support Mainframe applications.
Write, modify, and debug COBOL programs based on business requirements.
Create and maintain JCL jobs for batch processing and application execution.
Work with DB2 databases and develop SQL queries for application requirements.
Develop and support CICS-based online transactions.
Analyze application issues, job failures, abends, and production incidents.
Perform root-cause analysis and implement appropriate fixes.
Participate in application enhancements,



change requests, testing, and deployments.
Coordinate with business analysts, QA teams, production support teams, and other technical teams.
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution of critical incidents.
Follow established development, testing, deployment, and change-management processes.

Required Skills
6–9 years of Mainframe development experience
Strong hands-on experience in COBOL
Robust experience in JCL
Hands-on experience with DB2 and SQL
Good experience in CICS
Robust debugging and troubleshooting skills
Experience in application development and enhancements
Experience handling production issues and support activities
Good understanding of Mainframe batch and online processing
Positive communication and problem-solving skills
