Job Summary The ideal candidate will have a solid background in medical billing, with the skills necessary to improve our current billing procedures and reduce A/R days. The successful applicant will work on a number of tasks requiring data analysis, in-depth evaluation and exercising judgment within the appropriate scope of practice.

Responsibilities
Obtaining Eligibility Advantages referrals and pre-authorizations as required for procedures
Patient s demo entry, Verify Patient s demographic entry, Verify basic EVBV etc.
Verify medical notes for charge posting and post charges after verifying CPT, ICD and or appending appropriate required modifier.
Submit billing data to clearing house to submit it to insurance companies within 24 hrs. upon receiving clean superbills.
Check Clearing house reports and work on it within 24 hrs.
Work on claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided.
Perform Medicare / Medical reviews and audits.
Implement, maintain,



and report on programs initiated by the practice.
Perform payment posting and denial management tasks.
Reviewing patient balance for accuracy and completeness of statements.
Sending the patients statements.
Any other tasks assigned by TL
Team player.
Maintain productivity and reports.
