Looking for position for one of the institutes of Symbiosis International University i.e. Symbiosis University Hospital & Research Centre, Lavale, Pune

Hospital is 900 beds NABH Accredited, Multi-super Specialty State of the art hospital, associated with Symbiosis Medical College for Women.

Position: Manager Hospital Billing

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Finance; Master’s degree preferred. Proficiency in hospital billing systems and NABH guidelines.
Minimum 15 years of experience in hospital billing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Key areas of responsibility:
Oversee and manage all OPD & IPD billing operations, Admission , Discharges under the department. Ensuring accuracy in patient billing, estimation, timeliness in patient admission, transfer & discharges, and compliance with institutional and NABH standards & Develop and implement billing protocols and procedures.
Handle customer/patient inquiries and resolve complaints related to billing.
Supervise, train, and evaluate billing staff, including roster planning.
Liaise with clinicians, admission desk, TPA,



and other departments for billing coordination.
Authorize refunds, discounts, and special financial cases in consultation with Head Finance.
Analyze billing data and periodically present various MIS/reports to management.
Ensure adherence to SOPs for admissions, billing, estimates, discharge, refunds, and office permissions.
Maintain records for audits and support internal and NABH assessments.
Ensure compliance with insurance claim processes and timelines.
Monitor day to day outstanding's, Implement strategies for outstanding bill recovery and minimize financial leakage.
Monitor and review departmental KPIs and take corrective actions when needed. Maintain documentation and records.
Carry out other duties as reasonably assigned by senior authorities.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
