We are looking for an experienced and passionate Medical Coding Trainer to join our team!

Role Overview

Seeking a Certified Trainer with strong expertise in Medical Coding and a proven track record in delivering high-quality training programs across specialties.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver end-to-end training programs including:
Client-specific training
Industry updates
General medical coding sessions
Train coders on ICD & CPT coding, including the latest updates and guidelines
Specialize in ED
Develop and update training content/materials aligned with current standards
Coordinate with Supervisors and Training Managers to plan and execute training initiatives
Conduct regular audits
New hire charts
New specialty cases
Ongoing quality audits
Track performance and continuously improve training effectiveness

Required Skills & Qualifications
7 to 8 years of experience in Medical Coding




2 to 4 years of experience in training/mentoring
CPC Certification (mandatory)
Solid knowledge of ICD & CPT coding updates
Excellent English communication skills
Proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint
Ability to adapt and learn new specialties quickly

Positive to Have
Experience in evaluating employee performance and identifying skill gaps
Ability to design and implement onboarding programs
Awareness of modern training methodologies
Experience in creating structured training plans to bridge skill gaps
