Manager IT

Job Type: Contract

Location: Hyderabad, India; Vizianagaram, India

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives, identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure individual and team success.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
Monitor and report on IT performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in IT management, with a robust background in system administration and software development.
Proven track record of leading high-performing IT teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure.

Technical Skills & Experience:
Proficient in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
Robust understanding of database management systems, including MySQL and Oracle.
Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure.
Experience with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow or BMC Helix.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or MS in Computer Science.
ITIL certification.
Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Robust understanding of networking protocols and architecture.
