About the Role

We are seeking a skilled NOC Engineer to monitor and support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of systems. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in AWS, Linux, and SQL, with automation skills being a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor system health, alerts, dashboards, and logs using standard monitoring tools.
Perform first-level and second-level troubleshooting on incidents.
Execute runbooks for known issues and escalate when needed.
Perform basic Linux troubleshooting (logs, services, disk/CPU/memory checks).
Run and interpret basic SQL queries for data validation and issue diagnosis.
Work with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) for routine checks and troubleshooting.
Document incident details, resolution steps, and maintain knowledge base articles.
Communicate timely updates to stakeholders and ensure proper shift handover.
Collaborate with L2/L3 teams for deeper analysis and RCA contributions.
(Optional) Build scripts to automate repetitive checks or reporting.

Required Skills With 2 4 years of experience.





Technical Skills
Linux Basics: File system, permissions, services, process monitoring (top/df/free), log analysis.
AWS Basics: EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch (metrics/alarms), IAM fundamentals.
SQL Basics: SELECT queries, joins, filters, basic troubleshooting.
Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch/Grafana/OpsGenie/etc.).
Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, load balancing).

Soft Skills
Robust analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
Explicit communication and incident reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure during high-priority incidents.
Disciplined with documentation and handovers.

Valuable to Have –
Automation/Scripting:
Bash, Python, PowerShell (any scripting experience is a plus).
Experience with CI/CD concepts.
Basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
Understanding of ITIL processes.

Shift Requirements
Comfortable with 247 rotational shifts.
