About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Functional Solution Consultant with strong experience in cost accounting, annual budgeting and finance transformation.

You will work between Finance, Product, Engineering, QA and Delivery to convert complex finance processes into clear, buildable and testable software requirements.

This is not a generic Business Analyst role. Strong hands-on understanding of cost centres, budgeting, allocations, actuals, variance and finance systems is essential.

What You'll Do

- Understand and map budgeting and cost-accounting processes.
- Define Cost Centres, Cost Elements/GL mapping, drivers, formulas, rates, allocations and budget versions.
- Convert finance requirements into functional specifications, workflows and acceptance criteria.
- Create configuration catalogues, formula specifications and data/mapping requirements.
- Convert approved requirements into clear WBS work packages for Engineering and QA.
- Identify gaps, assumptions, dependencies and scope changes before they impact development.
- Support Engineering, QA and UAT teams throughout implementation.
- Lead workshops with Finance and business stakeholders and drive decisions to closure.
- Help distinguish between defects, configuration issues, data issues and current scope during UAT.

Must Have




- 8+ years of experience in finance-functional consulting, cost accounting, FP&A; systems, enterprise budgeting or ERP finance transformation.
- Strong cost-accounting experience in manufacturing, industrial, consumer goods, chemicals, process manufacturing or similar environments.
- Experience with at least one enterprise finance/planning platform such as SAP CO, SAP BPC, SAC Planning, Oracle EPM, Anaplan or IBM Planning Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of Cost Centres, Cost Elements/GL mapping, allocations, drivers, standard rates, actuals, variance, currency and annual budgeting.
- Experience creating functional specifications and UAT/acceptance documentation.
- Robust communication and written English.
- Ability to work with incomplete or conflicting finance documentation and turn it into clear system behaviour.

Good to Have
- Multi-plant, multi-department or multi-entity budgeting experience.
- Experience with effective-dated configurations and approval/delegation workflows.
- Experience with Azure, SSO/RBAC, audit controls and formal UAT/Go-Live processes.
- Experience working with custom software development teams.
- Experience working with Indonesian enterprise stakeholders.

Engagement

The initial engagement is expected to be an intensive 6–8 week design phase, with potential continued support through build, UAT and early go-live.
