We are looking for a skilled and responsible Operation Theatre Technician to support surgical procedures and ensure protected, productive, and well-coordinated OT operations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare the Operation Theatre, surgical instruments, equipment, and required supplies before procedures.
Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and handling of surgical instruments and equipment.
Maintain OT readiness, cleanliness, and adherence to infection prevention protocols.
Assist with surgical instrument and material counts before, during, and after procedures.
Handle and maintain OT equipment appropriately and report equipment issues promptly.
Ensure availability of required surgical consumables, implants, and emergency supplies.
Assist with patient preparation, positioning, transfer, and safe movement as required.
Follow biomedical waste management and infection control protocols.
Maintain OT registers, records, checklists, and procedure-related documentation.
Coordinate with CSSD, Nursing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, and other departments for smooth OT functioning.
Participate in emergency procedures and provide support during on-call requirements.
Follow hospital policies,



safety protocols, and applicable NABH standards.

Eligibility
Diploma / B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Freshers may apply.
Previous experience in a hospital OT will be preferred.

Desired Skills

Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control.
