Role & Responsibilities
Diagnostics: Interpret and report nuclear medicine scans, including FDG PET-CT, PSMA, SPECT-CT, bone scans, and thyroid studies.
Therapeutics: Oversee and administer radionuclide therapies (e.g., radioiodine therapy for thyroid conditions/cancer).
Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to national atomic energy and radiation safety regulatory standards.
Collaboration: Consult with oncology, cardiology, surgery, and radiology departments to correlate metabolic findings with patient history.
Supervision: Guide nuclear medicine technologists on radiopharmaceutical handling and acquisition protocols.esponsibilities
