Essential duties and responsibilities
Liaison with the authority for the removal of medical equipment emitting radiations Medicine Department.
Develop and to direct quality control programs for equipment and procedures that equipment works properly.
Responsible for statutory compliances related to AERB or other such regulatory authority.
Perform periodic safety audit in the department.
Have an access of hospital software related to work
Train the concern staff within their scope of services
Perform any other responsibilities given by higher authorities.
Liaison with authorities in dose requirement for purchasing of radioactive material
Manage proper storage of radio Isotopes.
Maintain the record of TLD readers for radiation exposure
Perform safety tests periodically as per hospital and AERB guidelines.



Liaison with regulatory authorities for radiation safety standards for the department.

Working conditions
Will work in different Shifts of 8.5 hours a day.
May have to be on call in case of any emergency.
Prolonged monitoring hours.

Skills Abilities
Should have very positive assisting skill.
Should have basic knowledge of computers.
Should be polite valuable in communication while handling patient.
Considerable individual initiative, reasoning skill, and sound judgment.
