Must-Have Skills
8+ years of overall IT/software engineering experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in Ontology / Knowledge Graph
Solid expertise in Ontology Modeling and Semantic Web
Hands-on experience with RDF, OWL, and SKOS
Strong knowledge of SPARQL and Cypher
Gremlin – Mandatory
Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB – Gremlin API
Strong Python and SQL skills
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining knowledge graphs
Ability to translate business/domain concepts into scalable ontologies and semantic models
Positive understanding of graph data modeling, relationships, entities, and semantic reasoning
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop enterprise-grade ontologies and knowledge graphs
Define concepts,
entities, relationships, properties, and semantic models
Develop and maintain RDF/OWL/SKOS-based ontologies
Write and optimize SPARQL, Cypher, and Gremlin queries
Build and manage graph solutions using Azure Cosmos DB Gremlin
Develop Python-based utilities and integrations for knowledge graph workflows
Work with SQL databases and integrate structured data with graph-based models
Collaborate with data, engineering, and domain teams to identify knowledge modeling requirements
Ensure ontology and knowledge graph solutions are scalable, reusable, and maintainable
