Role & responsibilities
Perform servicing, diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of OBEN electric motorcycles.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and EV-related issues.
Inspect and repair components such as brakes, suspension, tyres, drivetrain, wiring, controllers, sensors, and other vehicle systems.
Diagnose issues related to batteries, charging systems, motors, and electrical connections as per company guidelines.
Carry out periodic servicing and ensure vehicles are delivered to customers in proper working condition.
Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and post-service quality checks.
Use diagnostic tools and service equipment to identify and resolve technical issues.
Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and details of repairs carried out.
Explain basic technical issues and service requirements to customers when required.
Follow OBEN's technical, safety, warranty, and service procedures.




Coordinate with the Service Manager/Dealership team for complex technical issues and warranty claims.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the service workshop.

Preferred candidate profile
ITI/Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
13 years of experience in two-wheeler servicing/repair preferred.
Candidates with prior experience working on electric two-wheelers/EVs will have an advantage.
Positive understanding of two-wheeler mechanical and electrical systems.
Basic knowledge of EV batteries, motors, controllers, wiring, and charging systems is preferred.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems independently.
Comfortable using basic diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
Valuable attention to detail and commitment to service quality.
Freshers with relevant ITI/Diploma qualifications and robust interest in EV technology may also be considered.
