What You’ll Do
Fabricate splints and orthoses: thermoforming, moulding, trimming, padding, strapping and finishing.
Work from casts, measurements, scans or prescriptions to build devices to specification.
Modify and adjust devices for fit, alignment and comfort, including rework after fitting feedback.
Check each device against specification before release; maintain batch and job records.
Support product trials, prototyping and sizing work for current splint designs.
Keep the workshop clean, secure and organised; follow ISO 13485 documentation practices.
What You Need
Diploma or Certificate in Prosthetics & Orthotics (DPO / BPO), or ITI / Diploma with orthotic or splinting workshop experience.
0–3 years in an orthotics workshop, rehab centre, hospital P&O; department or splint manufacturing unit. Freshers from P&O; programmes welcome.
Hands-on skill with thermoplastics, heat guns / ovens, grinders and hand tools.
Accurate with measurements and comfortable following written specifications.
Basic English; Kannada or Hindi an advantage.
