Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible OT Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Operation Theatre. The ideal candidate should have solid clinical knowledge, excellent team-management skills, and hands-on experience in OT administration and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations and smooth functioning of the Operation Theatre.
Plan and coordinate OT schedules, surgeries, and staff allocation.
Supervise and manage OT nurses, technicians, and support staff.
Ensure proper preparation of the OT before every procedure.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
Ensure availability and proper maintenance of OT equipment, instruments, and consumables.
Coordinate effectively with surgeons, anesthetists, nursing teams, and other departments.
Monitor OT documentation, records, inventory, and stock levels.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory standards.
Handle emergencies and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Train,



guide, and evaluate OT staff to maintain high standards of patient care.
Monitor staff attendance, shift rosters, and manpower requirements.
Ensure proper handling, cleaning, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments.
Support audits, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement activities within the OT.
Maintain a secure, hygienic, and patient-friendly OT environment.

Candidate Requirements
B.Sc Nursing / GNM Nursing qualification.
10–15 years of relevant experience, preferably with significant experience in Operation Theatre management.
Strong knowledge of OT procedures, infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
Good leadership and team-management skills.
Robust communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to manage multiple surgeries and OT activities efficiently.
Should be comfortable working in shifts and handling emergency situations.
