Operations Executive – Purchase & Export Logistics
Location: Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai

Key Responsibilities
Source and coordinate with suppliers for purchase requirements.
Collect quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with vendors.
Raise and follow up on Purchase Orders and material delivery.
Maintain supplier records and develop alternate vendors.
Coordinate quality checks, samples, packing, and material readiness.
Coordinate with transporters, CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.
Handle container placement, loading, stuffing, and shipment tracking.
Follow up on vessel schedules, cut-off dates, and shipment timelines.
Coordinate export documentation with accounts and documentation teams.
Monitor shipments and ensure timely dispatch.
Identify and resolve purchase, quality, and logistics issues.




Visit suppliers, warehouses, and shipment locations when required.

Requirements
Graduate/Diploma with 1–4 years of relevant experience.
Experience in Purchase, Procurement, Logistics, Export, or Trading preferred.
Agro commodities/Food/FMCG/Export experience will be an advantage.
Valuable communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
Knowledge of MS Excel, email, and documentation.
Basic knowledge of export logistics and shipment procedures.
Willingness to travel as required.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹10,853.91 - ₹31,719.83 per month
