Provide technical solutions for process-related issues impacting production.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for process upsets, equipment failures, and quality deviations.
Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and EHS teams for effective problem resolution.
Support plant startups, shutdowns, and commissioning activities.
Safety, Health &
Setting
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and statutory regulations.
Participate in HAZOP, risk assessment, PSSR, and other process safety studies.
Drive initiatives related to process safety management and secure operating practices.
Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
Project Management
Lead process engineering activities for plant modification and expansion projects.
Prepare technical specifications, process datasheets, and engineering calculations.
Coordinate with consultants, technology licensors, and vendors during project execution.
Ensure projects are completed within budget, timeline, and quality requirements.
Energy &
Cost Optimization
Monitor utility consumption and identify energy-saving opportunities.
Drive cost reduction initiatives related to raw materials, utilities, and process improvements.
Benchmark plant performance against industry standards.
Documentation &
Compliance
Maintain process engineering documentation, PFDs, P&IDs;, mass and energy balances.
Ensure Management of Change (MOC) procedures are followed for all technical modifications.
Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews.
Team Development
Mentor and guide process engineers and shift teams on technical matters.
Conduct technical training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
