Role & responsibilities
Lead end-to-end plant operations covering production planning, quality, on-time delivery, cost optimisation, productivity and overall operational efficiency.
Develop and implement robust systems, processes and SOPs to ensure smooth and effective manufacturing operations.
Drive coordination across Production Planning, Maintenance, Tool Room, Stores, Purchase, Quality and other functions to ensure adherence to production schedules and customer requirements.
Lead manpower, shift and machine planning to optimise resource utilisation, improve productivity and achieve production targets.
Drive cost reduction, waste elimination and productivity improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
Monitor and improve Man, Machine and Material utilisation, with a robust focus on capacity enhancement and profitability.
Establish and monitor daily,



weekly and monthly operational MIS, including Production, Schedule vs. Supply, Productivity, Quality, Rejection, Rework, Downtime and Cost metrics.
Drive shop-floor excellence through monitoring of cycle time, setup time, downtime, rejection, rework and process losses, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.
Lead initiatives for TPM, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and waste reduction to improve OEE and plant efficiency.
Partner with Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) for Current Product Development, new projects, process validation and production readiness.
Ensure strict adherence to EHS, statutory, legal and organisational requirements across plant operations.
