Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with solid expertise in database technologies and big data processing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, Apache Spark, and possess a solid understanding of database administration concepts. The role involves designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines and database solutions to support business-critical applications and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and database solutions using PostgreSQL.
Build and optimize large-scale data processing workflows using Apache Spark.
Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies for improved efficiency.
Support database migration, data integration, and data quality initiatives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Apply basic DBA knowledge to manage database health, backups, recovery,



user management, and performance monitoring.
Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills
Strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
Basic Database Administration (DBA) knowledge
Experience in Apache Spark
Robust SQL query writing and performance tuning skills
Understanding of ETL/Data Integration concepts

Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting.
Experience with data migration and performance optimization projects.
