Key Responsibilities:
Handle PR, RFQ, quotation comparison and PO processes.
Procure raw materials, plant spares, MRO items, consumables, tools, PPE and services.
Identify, develop and coordinate with vendors/suppliers.
Negotiate price, payment terms and delivery schedules.
Follow up with suppliers for timely material delivery.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Maintenance, Quality, Finance and Logistics.
Monitor supplier performance for Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD).
Resolve material shortage, quality, delivery and documentation issues.
Maintain purchase records, vendor data, POs and procurement reports.
Support cost reduction and alternate vendor development.
