About the Role
Fintaco Global is looking for a Chartered Accountant to join our Audit & Assurance team in Bangalore. The role involves handling audit assignments, reviewing financial information, coordinating with clients and ensuring timely and high-quality completion of engagements.
The ideal candidate should have robust accounting and auditing fundamentals, attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of assignments.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute audit and assurance assignments from start to completion.
Review financial statements, books of accounts, ledgers and supporting documents.
Perform audit procedures, analytical reviews and substantive testing.
Identify accounting discrepancies, control gaps and areas requiring attention.
Prepare and review audit working papers and documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
Coordinate with clients to obtain required information and clarifications.
Discuss audit observations and findings with clients and the internal team.
Assist in preparation of audit reports and management reports.




Manage multiple assignments and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Review work performed by junior team members and provide guidance wherever required.
Coordinate with senior team members/Partners on significant audit matters.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure quality standards across assignments.

Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant.
3–5 years of post-qualification experience; strong CA Articleship experience will be considered.
Strong understanding of accounting and auditing concepts.
Good knowledge of financial statements and audit procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good command of MS Excel and accounting software.
Good communication and client-handling skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
Strong attention to detail and ownership of work.
