3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service) data modeling, DAX,
Power Query.
Proven experience connecting Power BI to Azure Databricks (via Databricks SQL
endpoints/connectors) and Snowflake (via native connector).
Robust SQL skills; familiarity with Spark SQL a plus.
Understanding of cloud data architecture (lakehouse/data warehouse concepts, ELT/ETL
pipelines).
Experience with Azure ecosystem (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Storage/ADLS) is
a plus.
Knowledge of data governance, security models (RLS), and performance tuning in Power BI.
Experience with Power BI Premium/Fabric capacity, gateways, and deployment pipelines.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent
experience). Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Microsoft Power BI Certification (PL-300) or equivalent.
Experience with DBT, Airflow, or other orchestration tools.
Exposure to Python for data prep/automation.
Experience in a specific industry domain (finance, healthcare, retail, etc., as applicable).
