FirstShield Pharmacy is a growing, community-focused pharmacy chain with branches across Kanyakumari district and Erode, Planning to expand in Coimbatore, Trichy, and Tirunelveli in near future. We aim to give every customer accurate medicines, honest advice, and friendly service.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescription and OTC medicines accurately according to doctors' prescriptions
Check prescriptions for correct dosage, drug interactions, and validity before dispensing
Explain dosage, timing, side effects, and storage instructions to customers clearly in Tamil and English
Maintain Schedule H, H1, and X drug registers as required under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act
Bill sales and manage stock entries in Wondersoft billing software
Monitor stock levels, place reorders, and check expiry dates regularly
Receive and verify supplier deliveries against invoices
Store medicines correctly, including cold-chain items such as insulin and vaccines
Keep the store clean, organized,
and ready for drug inspector visits
Guide and supervise sales assistants on medicine handling
Qualifications
D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution
Valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council (mandatory)
1–3 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred; freshers with positive knowledge are welcome to apply
Basic computer skills; experience with Wondersoft or similar billing software is a plus
