Key Responsibilities
Dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions.
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
Provide appropriate information regarding medication usage and precautions.
Maintain accurate records of medicines received, issued, and returned.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
Check expiry dates and maintain proper storage conditions.
Handle controlled and high-alert medications as per hospital policies.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists on medication-related queries.
Maintain pharmacy documentation and support internal audits.
Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and applicable pharmacy regulations.
Qualifications
B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the relevant State Pharmacy Council.
Experience
Freshers can apply.
Previous hospital pharmacy experience will be an added advantage.
Skills
Valuable knowledge of medicines and their usage.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
Basic computer knowledge.
