We are looking for a Phlebotomist who will be responsible for collecting blood and other clinical samples safely and efficiently while ensuring proper patient care and accurate sample handling.
Key Responsibilities
Collect blood samples from patients using appropriate phlebotomy techniques.
Ensure correct patient identification and proper labeling of samples.
Handle, store, and transport samples as per laboratory protocols.
Maintain hygiene, infection control, and safety standards during sample collection.
Ensure proper disposal of needles, syringes, and biomedical waste.
Interact professionally with patients and make them comfortable during sample collection.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of collected samples.
Coordinate with the laboratory team for timely processing of samples.
Report any issues related to sample collection, labeling, or transportation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the phlebotomy area and equipment.
Candidate Requirements
Qualification: DMLT / B.Sc MLT / relevant phlebotomy certification preferred.
Freshers to 2 years of experience in phlebotomy or sample collection.
Good knowledge of blood collection procedures and basic infection-control practices.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient-friendly attitude and professional appearance.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
