Crescent Lighting is looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for its LED luminaire manufacturing operations — from vendor sourcing and negotiation to timely material availability for production and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, and finished goods from domestic vendors
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors; maintain and expand an approved vendor base
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to optimize cost without compromising quality
Coordinate with QA/NPD teams on vendor rating, audits, and compliance requirements
Ensure timely procurement to support production schedules and project timelines (enquiry to delivery/GRN)
Track material pricing trends and maintain updated cost/vendor databases
Collaborate with Sales/Project teams on BOQ-based sourcing and quotes for MTO (Make-to-Order) requirements
Monitor inventory levels and vendor performance (quality, delivery, pricing)
Ensure procurement processes align with company quality and compliance standards
Requirements
10–15 years of experience in procurement, preferably in lighting, electrical, or manufacturing industry
Robust vendor management and negotiation skills
Working knowledge of BOQ, BOM, and project-based procurement
Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems
Solid analytical and cross-functional coordination skills
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
