The position is responsible for sourcing raw materials to ensure a robust supply of materials to develop manufacturing of recent and existing products.
Responsibilities: ---
Lead sourcing activities, supplier selection and negotiations efforts.
Pro-actively build positive strategic relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to optimize inventory levels and material flow while minimizing stock-out risks.
Continually optimize supply chain with respect to price, inventory, supply continuity, and terms and conditions.
Development of Sourcing strategy and execution while ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
Price negotiation with suppliers.
Market analysis, supply chain risk assessment, source selection, and contract negotiation. Evaluate market conditions in order to alleviate and mitigate supplier and raw material risks.
Development of Alternate Sources of Raw Material & coordination with R&D; for necessary testing support.
