PROPOSAL ENGINEER

Job SummaryWe are looking for a Proposal Engineer with 1–4 years of experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals, reviewing RFQs, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting tender activities. The candidate should have good technical understanding and solid skills in estimation, costing, documentation, and client/vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Review RFQs, tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
Prepare accurate technical and techno-commercial proposals within project deadlines.
Prepare BOQ/BOM, cost estimates, quotations, and commercial comparison sheets.
Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Production, Engineering, and other departments for proposal inputs.
Source and compare vendor quotations, prices, lead times, and technical details.
Communicate with clients and vendors for technical and commercial clarifications.
Assist in tender preparation, bid submission, and post-tender negotiations.
Maintain proposal trackers, quotation records,



and other relevant documentation.
Conduct basic technical and commercial analysis to ensure competitive and accurate proposals.
Support management in preparing cost summaries, presentations, and proposal reports.
Ensure proposals are submitted accurately and within the required timelines.

Valuable knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of AutoCAD, ERP/CRM, and tender management tools is an added advantage
Robust analytical, communication, and negotiation skills

Experience
1–4 years of relevant experience in proposal engineering, estimation, tendering, costing, or techno-commercial activities.
Experience in EPCC, EPC, Oil & Gas, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial projects will be preferred.
