Purchase Manager – Manufacturing
Factory Location: Khed Shivapur, Pune
Experience: 4–10 Years
Qualification: Graduate / Diploma / BE – Mechanical / Production / Supply Chain
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end purchase activities for manufacturing requirements.
Source and develop vendors for raw materials, fabrication items, electrical & mechanical components and consumables.
Handle RFQs, quotation comparison, price negotiation and purchase orders.
Ensure timely availability of materials as per production requirements.
Coordinate with Production, PPC, Stores, Quality and Accounts teams.
Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules, quality and commercial terms.
Develop alternate suppliers and achieve cost savings through effective negotiations.
Maintain purchase records, MIS, vendor database and ERP documentation.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of industrial/manufacturing procurement.
Valuable vendor negotiation and supplier-management skills.
Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
Robust communication, follow-up and coordination skills.
Salary: As per experience & industry standards Pay: ₹16,990.00 - ₹56,807.22 per month
