JOB Title: Proposal & Tender Engineer/ Sr. Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engineer–Proposal & Tenders to manage end-to-end tendering and budgeting activities. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and submitting techno-commercial offers while ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions.

Key Responsibilities:
Review technical specifications, drawings, SLD, IO List, PLC architecture, BOQs for accuracy and completeness
Ensure compliance with all technical and commercial documentation requirements
Discussion with clients to have clarity on scope of work/ requirement
Preparation of techno-commercial offer, its submission and approval
Coordinate with internal department for technical inputs, approvals, and documentation




Follow up for necessary authorizations, supporting documents and offer submitted to clients
To report the reporting manager on daily basis with status of the offers

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering
Experience: 4+ years of experience in tendering and budget estimation for Electrical, Automation, PLC-SCADA system.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PDF tools)
Understanding of commercial terms like taxes (GST), freight, insurance, bank guarantees (EMD/BG), and contractual terms
Understanding of technical drawings, SLD, Load list, Input-output List, P&ID; and to go through the tender specifications
Valuable communication skills, coordination, and organizational skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines
