Be the reason a bad release never reaches a client. We are looking for a tester who automates aggressively but still knows that some defects only ever surface when a human uses the product properly.
You will join the engineering team as a peer, not as a gate at the end of the process, and you will be involved from the point a feature is specified.
Responsibilities
Automated regression suites for web and API layers, running in CI on every merge
Test strategy for current features, including the risky paths nobody thought to mention
Exploratory testing where automation has poor returns
Explicit, reproducible defect reports that engineers do not have to interrogate
Requirements
Two or more years in QA with genuine automation experience
Hands-on work with Selenium, Cypress or Playwright
API testing with Postman or REST Assured, and the ability to read a schema
Basic SQL for verifying what actually landed in the database
A methodical, slightly suspicious mindset
Experience with performance or security testing would set your application apart.
