Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage procurement operations for our bio-fertilizer, pesticides and agrochemical manufacturing business. The candidate should have robust experience in raw material sourcing, vendor management, negotiation and purchase planning.

Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement of raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials and other manufacturing requirements.
Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
Prepare and manage purchase orders (POs).
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Accounts and Logistics departments.
Ensure timely availability of materials as per production requirements.
Monitor vendor performance, quality and delivery timelines.
Maintain purchase records, vendor data and procurement MIS.
Control purchase costs and support cost-saving initiatives.




Ensure procurement follows company policies and quality requirements.
Handle purchase-related documentation and inventory coordination.

Candidate Requirements
Graduate in any discipline; B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Com or relevant qualification preferred.
5–8 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in the bio-fertilizer, pesticides, agrochemical or chemical manufacturing industry.
Robust knowledge of raw material and chemical procurement.
Excellent negotiation, vendor development and communication skills.
Knowledge of MS Excel, purchase orders and procurement documentation.
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage deadlines.
Knowledge of direct and indirect purchase will be an added advantage.
