Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day electrical maintenance activities at the depot/project site.
Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
Maintain and monitor depot electrical systems, including LT panels, transformers, DG sets, electrical distribution systems, lighting, and other related equipment.
Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and repair activities.
Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure and associated electrical systems.
Monitor electrical safety, equipment health, and maintenance schedules.
Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, and maintenance records.
Conduct regular inspections and identify potential electrical failures before they impact operations.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.




Maintain adequate availability of critical electrical spares and coordinate for timely procurement.
Support project teams during installation, commissioning, testing, and handover of electrical systems.
Coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted bus operations.
Lead technicians/electricians and allocate daily maintenance activities.

Preferred candidate profile
Robust knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience in LT/HT electrical systems, panels, transformers, DG sets, and electrical distribution.
Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.
Exposure to EV charging systems will be an added advantage.
Positive understanding of electrical safety and statutory compliance.
Ability to manage vendors, contractors, and technicians.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
