Production In Charge - Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet assigned production targets.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of planned work.
Coordinate manpower, materials, machinery, and other production resources.
Monitor product quality during production and support corrective actions when required.
Maintain production records and prepare daily production reports.
Identify production delays, bottlenecks, and process issues and support improvements.
Ensure employees follow established production procedures and workplace safety requirements.
Coordinate with quality, maintenance, stores, and other departments for smooth production operations.
Required Skills
Production Planning - Ability to organize daily production activities based on targets and available resources.
Production Monitoring - Ability to track output, delays, and production performance.
Quality Control Awareness - Understanding of basic manufacturing quality requirements and defect prevention.
Manpower Coordination - Ability to allocate and coordinate shop-floor manpower effectively.
Production Reporting - Ability to maintain accurate production records and report operational performance.
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement.
Familiarity with production ERP/MIS systems.
Knowledge of workplace safety and manufacturing SOPs.
Work Experience Requirements
Candidates should have 12 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations.
Experience coordinating shop-floor production, manpower, quality, and daily output would be relevant to this position.
