Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day production activities as per production plans and SOPs.
Monitor chemical manufacturing processes, batch operations, and plant parameters.
Ensure proper handling of raw materials, chemicals, and finished products.
Operate and monitor equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, filters, pumps, and related process equipment.
Maintain production records, batch sheets, logbooks, and shift reports.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and Stores departments for smooth production operations.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, GMP/ISO requirements, where applicable.
Monitor manpower utilization and allocate work to operators/helpers.
Identify process abnormalities and coordinate for timely corrective actions.
Maintain housekeeping and ensure secure working practices on the shop floor.
