Python Automation Test Engineer

Location: Surat / Co-working space in the candidate's city

Salary: ₹8–10 LPA

Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python and TestComplete.
Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and design test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing to ensure software quality.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes.
Utilize tools like Git for version control and manage test cases effectively.
Conduct API testing and ensure the functionality of backend services.
Report and track defects through their lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,



Engineering, or a related field.
Strong hands-on experience with Python, TestComplete, and Selenium WebDriver.
Positive knowledge of automation framework development and maintenance.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and defect lifecycle.
Experience with functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
Knowledge of PyTest, Git, API testing, SQL, and CI/CD is an added advantage.
Valuable to average communication skills are required.
