Key Responsibilities1. Sourcing &
Material Procurement
Identify, source, and procure civil construction materials (e.g., TMT steel, cement, aggregates, ready-mix concrete, bricks, and finishing materials) and heavy equipment.
Review Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and technical drawings to align purchasing quantities with actual site demands.
Prepare and float Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to qualified bidders. [1, 2]
Vendor &
Subcontractor Management
Evaluate and onboard current vendors, suppliers, and labor contractors (thekedars).
Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations to create comparative statements.
Monitor vendor performance regarding material quality, delivery speed, and pricing compliance.
Maintain rate contracts and foster long-term supplier relationships. [1, 2]
Negotiation &
Cost Control
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize cost savings.
Conduct market trend analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-optimization prospects.




Track procurement expenditures against project budgets and flag any potential cost overruns. [1]
Site Coordination &
Logistics
Coordinate closely with site engineers, project managers, and logistics teams to prevent work stoppages.
Track delivery schedules and expedite shipments or local transport for critical items.
Inspect or arrange quality checks for incoming raw materials to ensure they meet engineering standards.
Maintain accurate inventory logs, stock records, and MIS reports. [1, 2]
Compliance &
Documentation
Prepare purchase orders (POs), work contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure adherence to local statutory requirements, safety standards, and tax policies (such as GST and TDS/TCS).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
