Responsible for day-to-day procurement of raw materials, components, and consumables required for fabrication and project execution, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.
Key Responsibilities
Source and procure raw materials (plates, pipes, fittings, valves, electrodes, etc.) and consumables as per production/project requirements
Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize vendors
Raise and process purchase orders in the ERP system
Coordinate with stores, production, and quality teams for material requirements and specifications
Track order status and follow up for timely delivery
Maintain vendor database,
price records, and purchase documentation
Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and budget guidelines
Resolve material quality or delivery issues with vendors
Requirements
Graduate (B.Com / B.E. Mechanical / any relevant discipline)
2–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or EPC company
Valuable negotiation and vendor management skills
Knowledge of steel, pipes, valves, and industrial consumables preferred
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
