Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Coordinator to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective purchase of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) for our company. You will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing purchase orders, and overseeing the delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and evaluate potential suppliers for FMCG products based on cost, quality, reliability, and service.
•
Request and analyse quotations from shortlisted suppliers.
•
Negotiate and finalize purchase contracts with suppliers, securing the best possible price and terms.
•
Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
•




Track order fulfilment and monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts.
•
Maintain solid relationships with suppliers and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
•
Manage and update purchasing documentation and records.
•
Analyse supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings or improved service levels.
•
Stay up to date on market trends and pricing fluctuations within the FMCG industry.
•
Support the Purchasing Manager with other procurement activities as needed.
