We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Software Engineer to work on an ERP migration and multi-platform integration project for a US-based building technology client. The role involves enhancing and maintaining an existing production Ruby on Rails application and developing integrations with third-party platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications in an existing production codebase.
Build and maintain REST/XML API integrations.
Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software.
Work with relational databases and SQL.
Write automated/unit tests using RSpec or equivalent.
Troubleshoot, refactor, and safely modify existing code.
Collaborate with the development team to solve technical challenges.

Required Skills
Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field.




Robust Ruby on Rails development experience.
Object-Oriented Design and Development.
Robust SQL and relational database knowledge.
Robust verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of C/C++, C#, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
Experience with Sidekiq/ActiveJob, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Redis.
Knowledge of AWS/Azure, ERP/CRM integrations, data migration/ETL, and Capistrano.
Understanding of TDD, BDD, software design patterns, refactoring, and performance/concurrency testing.
Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and macOS.
Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
