Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and detailed cost estimates.
Verify contractor and subcontractor bills.
Prepare client bills and RA (Running Account) bills.
Monitor project costs and control budget variations.
Analyze material consumption and reduce wastage.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, architects, and consultants.
Review tender documents and prepare cost comparisons.
Evaluate quotations and recommend suitable vendors and subcontractors.
Track variations, extra items, and change orders.
Prepare project cost reports and management MIS.
Ensure measurements comply with contract terms and project specifications.
Support procurement by providing quantity and cost data.
Maintain proper documentation for billing, contracts, and quantity records.
Ensure timely completion of billing and cost-related activities.
Required Skills
Robust knowledge of quantity surveying principles
Excellent estimation and cost control skills
Valuable understanding of residential construction methods
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity estimation software
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Good communication and team coordination abilities
Ability to work under deadlines with high accuracy
