PebblePlay is building a recent generation of hands-on learning experiences for children through Robotics, STEM and experiential education.
We're looking for someone who can teach robotics and help us grow the program.
You'll spend part of your time delivering excellent robotics experiences for children and part of your time helping us take those experiences to new societies, schools and communities.
We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable teaching robotics and talking to parents, schools and communities.
You'll conduct robotics/STEM programs for children while also helping PebblePlay expand into new societies and schools.
Responsibilities
Robotics Training
Conduct robotics and STEM classes for children aged 6–14
Teach Arduino, electronics, sensors, motors and robotics projects
Prepare and test projects
Manage classroom engagement
Support curriculum development and school programs
Business Development
Identify recent societies and schools
Approach decision-makers and community managers
Present PebblePlay Robotics programs
Organize robotics demo days and camps
Speak with parents and explain the program
Follow up on leads and enquiries
Convert demos into enrollments
Ideal Candidate
2+ years of robotics/STEM teaching experience
Hands-on knowledge of Arduino, electronics and robotics
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable speaking to parents and decision-makers
Sales/business-development experience is a robust advantage
Energetic, proactive and comfortable working independently
Interested in joining an early-stage startup and taking ownership
Work Schedule
Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Working Days: 6 days per week
Weekend: Saturday & Sunday working
Weekly Off: 1 weekday off
Weekend work is required because our robotics classes, demo days, camps and community activities are primarily conducted on weekends.
