Role & responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all statutory safety regulations, including the Factories Act and other
applicable EHS guidelines.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across the manufacturing plant.
Identify workplace hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures.
Organize safety training, induction programs, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees
and contractors.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective
actions.
Monitor the proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure adherence to safety
protocols.
Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including mock drills, fire safety inspections, and
evacuation procedures.
Maintain statutory registers, safety records, permits, and documentation as per regulatory
requirements.




Liaise with government authorities during inspections and ensure timely statutory compliance.
Promote a robust safety culture by driving EHS initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

Preferred candidate profile
Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) Mandatory.
Solid knowledge of industrial safety standards, hazard identification, and risk assessment.
Positive understanding of manufacturing safety practices, permit-to-work systems, fire safety, and emergency response.
Familiarity with statutory compliance under the Factories Act, OSHA principles, and EHS regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office for preparing reports and maintaining safety documentation.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
