Designation- AWS Connect Developer

Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile, engineering-focused AWS Connect Developer to own the design, development and deployment of our cloud contact center platforms. In this role, you will bridge the gap between cloud telephony and up-to-date software development. We value strong engineering fundamentals over specific stack dogmas; therefore, we are looking for a developer who can write backend logic in any major runtime language and manage deployments using any modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool natively supported by the cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
Contact Journey Engineering: Architect, build, and optimize complex Amazon Connect Contact Flows , modules and multi-channel routing configurations (voice, chat, and tasks).
Backend Integration Development: Design and write serverless backend logic via AWS Lambda using Java) to orchestrate data-dips and CRM lookups.
Frontend: Angular.js
Conversational AI Implementation: Build, train, and continuously refine natural language processing chat and voice interactions using Amazon Lex .
Automated Deployments: Implement and maintain configurations using standard Infrastructure as Code (IaC) provisioning tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, CDK, or Serverless Framework) to ensure repeatable environments.
Data Flow Optimization: Manage real-time data attributes within call flows, parse external API responses and ensure smooth data streaming via Amazon Kinesis or S3 for analytics.
Observability & Support:



Proactively monitor application health, trace execution paths and debug system bottlenecks using AWS CloudWatch logs and metrics.

Work Expectations:
Workstyle & Autonomy: This is a Hybrid position person has to work 3 days from either pune or mumbai office. You must have a proven track record of working independently in a distributed team environment with strong asynchronous communication skills.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications:
Amazon Connect Core: Extensive hands-on experience building production-grade solutions using Amazon Connect, contact flows, routing profiles and contact attributes.
Software Engineering Fundamentals: High proficiency in at least one major serverless programming language with a solid grasp of asynchronous design patterns and secure coding practices.
Cloud Infrastructure & Serverless: Deep familiarity with core ecosystem components including AWS Lambda, DynamoDB (or relational databases), IAM policies, and S3 .
Modern DevOps & IaC: Practical experience managing infrastructure and contact center assets via code using any mainstream IaC framework alongside Git -driven CI/CD pipelines.
API Integration: Proven track record of securely integrating third-party RESTful APIs using JSON, handling tokens, and managing webhooks.

Preferred Qualifications:
Active cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
Prior experience migrating legacy, on-premise contact center systems (e.g., Avaya, Cisco, Genesys) over to Amazon Connect.
