Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Senior Production Manager - Garments to join our team in Jaipur. This is a full time, in office role that involves overseeing all aspects of production operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficiency, maintain quality standards, and lead cross-functional teams to meet ambitious production goals.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing stitching lines to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards.
Managing manpower to meet daily production targets and ensure 100% capacity utilization.
Optimizing Work-In-Progress (WIP) on the floor to enhance productivity.
Minimizing operations by implementing specialized machinery, folders, and attachments.
Develop and oversee production schedules, aligning them with organizational targets.
Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards.
Optimize production efficiency through strategic planning and execution.
Utilize Industrial Engineering (IE) tools and methodologies, including Operation Bulletin, SAM/SMV, Skill Mapping, Aids and Attachments, and Line Balancing.
Monitor and control output, calculate costs, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity and resolve operational challenges.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree/diploma in Garment Manufacturing Technology or a related field from a reputed institution.
Experience: Over 15 years of hands-on experience in Garment Production, specifically in Wovens. Prior experience as an Industrial Engineer Manager is a must.
In-depth knowledge of IE tools and processes.
Robust expertise in garment manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage production schedules and deliver on tight deadlines.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and capability to thrive under pressure.
