We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with robust hands-on experience in PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in database architecture and design, query optimization, performance tuning, administration, scalability, troubleshooting, and automation. This is an AI-driven DBA role.

Candidates must actively use AI tools in their day-to-day database work to improve productivity, troubleshoot issues faster, optimize SQL, analyze performance, assist with database design, and automate routine DBA activities. Our interview process will have a significant focus on AI-assisted DBA problem solving, in addition to evaluating robust database fundamentals.

Qualifications
Solid hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL & MySQL
Excellent SQL, indexing & execution plan analysis skills
Experience in performance tuning, backup/recovery and production support
Strong knowledge of database security, transactions, locking & concurrency
Hands-on use of AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or Gemini
Scripting/automation experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
Cloud database and migration experience is an added advantage
